Leading a congregation is filled with challenges, and doing it alone can feel hopeless. The Presbytery is a network of leaders who have helped reverse the trend of decline by developing and equipping new and existing leaders as we take on our challenging calling together.

Cyclical LA seeks to identify and support discerning church starters, church starters, and existing churches as they join the mission of God through the natural and historical lifecycle of starting new churches. This growing collective of leaders is an ecumenical community of innovators that share a common culture and set of practices created to thoughtfully start new churches across Los Angeles.

What keeps me connected to this Presbytery is the feeling of community. The people here really care. I am also excited by this community's readiness to embrace creativity and to try new things. We care about listening to God's voice as the Spirit guides us into the new.

For me, and many others, the San Fernando Presbytery has been a place to not only receive an opportunity in leadership, but to grow and thrive in becoming the leader that God has created me to be.

North Valley Caring Services is considered an essential service provider in our community. We could not have done it without the help of San Fernando Valley Presbytery and her churches who regularly contribute monetarily, with their prayers and also by volunteering in our programs.

The Presbytery of San Fernando enriches my ministry as a mission co-worker in Colombia through connections with colleagues in ministry and local churches and support from presbytery committees. The Justice, Peace, and Integrity of Creation work group in particular has supported the work of educating and advocating for Colombia’s peace process, which is at the heart of my ministry with the Presbyterian Church of Colombia.

PSF has allowed experimentation to flourish. Together we have prayed, dreamed, imagined, and lived into new ways of being the church. I thank God for PSF.
